From finding the perfect property to closing the deal, here’s how long it typically takes to buy a home:
Start by working with a lender (such as myself) to become pre-approved then doing your research and finding a reputable real estate agent who can help you navigate the home buying process (can help refer you to a great Realtor).
Next, it’s time to start looking for properties and attending open houses with your Realtor. This can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months, depending on your needs and preferences.
Once you’ve found a property you’re interested in, you’ll need to make an offer and negotiate with the seller. This can take anywhere from a few days to a week or more.
After your offer is accepted, it’s time to begin working on your loan submission process. This can take anywhere from a few weeks to a month, depending on the lender and your financial situation.
Once your loan is approved, it’s time to schedule a home inspection and address any issues that are discovered. This can take a week or two.
Finally, it’s time to close on the property and finalize the sale. This typically takes a few days to a week.
Overall, the process of buying a home can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months, depending on a variety of factors.
I’m here to help guide you through the process and to make the process as seamless as possible.
